Founders House Flatiron: applications are open
Natural light, 24/7 workspace, optional gym and sauna. Come build alongside other founders.
Founders House is coming to Flatiron, and applications are now open for founding members. Apply here.
A workspace filled with natural light. A community of founders scaling their companies. Optional access to a full gym with classes, a sauna, and a cold plunge. With 24/7 workspace access and private offices for teams of 3+, steps from Union Square.
We're bringing the community we built at 22 Vanderbilt into the heart of NYC's startup ecosystem, and inviting new founders to help shape what comes next.

Why we're creating this
When Louisa and I first imagined Founders House, we kept coming back to the same question: what would it look like to build a company, take care of your health, and have a real community without treating them as three separate lives?
I'd moved to New York and started bringing founders together through morning runs. Louisa had started Shanti House through yoga and wellness gatherings. People came for the activity, but they kept returning for each other.
A conversation after a run became a friendship. Someone else's experience helped you think differently about your own business. Over time, we saw how much people could learn from one another when they had a reason to keep showing up.
But we didn't have a permanent home. So we brought our communities together to build Founders House. Apply to Join Founders House Flatiron →

From 22 Vanderbilt to Flatiron
22 Vanderbilt became our first chapter.
During NYC Tech Week in June, the House filled with founders learning about AI agents from speakers at Cursor and NVIDIA, working through go-to-market with Cristina Ciaravalli, and discussing the future of investing in health and wellness.
Summer Builders Day with MongoDB and Ramp brought technical programming, an AI workshop, founder pitches, and a happy hour on the terrace.

Those events gave people a reason to walk through the door. The coworking days, member lunches, morning runs, and conversations in between gave them a reason to come back.
That's what we're carrying into Flatiron.
What makes Founders House different
If you've tried coworking and still felt like you were working alone, you know that being surrounded by people isn't the same as knowing them. And if you've left a founder mixer with a handful of contacts, you know an introduction is only the beginning.
At Founders House, the person you meet at a workshop can become someone you work alongside the next morning. They get to know your product, hear what you're trying, and have context when you ask for feedback a month later.
You can learn from someone who's made the hire you're considering or worked through the customer problem you're facing. And you have something to offer them, too.
Our next home gives that community room to grow. Think natural light and skylights, a place to settle into focused work, meeting rooms for conversations that need their own space, and phone booths for your calls. With 24/7 workspace access and Union Square nearby, it can fit into the way you actually spend your week. Private offices are also available separately for founders and teams who need their own space.
Workshops, demos, and member gatherings will continue to bring fresh perspectives into that everyday routine. Optional gym access means training, classes, sauna, and cold plunge can be part of it, too.
How membership works
All Access includes 24/7 workspace, community, member programming, and gym access. For those who don't need a physical workspace, Virtual Community includes member programming and access to our online community portal.
The idea has stayed the same from those first runs and yoga gatherings: build something you're proud of, with people you enjoy being around, without putting your health or friendships on hold.
We’re looking for founders building real products and growing their companies who also want to know the people around them. People who share what they’re learning, make introductions, and show up for each other.
We’re being thoughtful about this founding cohort because its members will help shape the everyday life of the new location.
How to join
We're moving soon, and we're opening the founding Flatiron member waitlist now. If you've joined us at an event, followed along, or been waiting for the right time to become a member, we'd love to hear from you.
Tell us what you're building and which membership interests you. We'll follow up with availability, details, and next steps as the move gets closer, so you can decide whether it's the right fit.
We're excited to bring this next chapter to life with you.
See you there,
Damian & Louisa
