As we kick off another incredible week, I'm reflecting on the electric atmosphere at our NYC Summer Startup Social this past weekend. Watching 60+ founders, operators, and builders transform a Saturday night into genuine connections and breakthrough conversations reminded me why we started this community. The energy at the loft was unmatched.

Here’s a bit about us.

More friend group than Slack networking circle, we’re a third-space social community made up of top founders, builders and creatives across the startup world.

We got sick of the transactional networking happy hours and highly-gated “need to know someone” feel of the startup world, so decided to build something totally different: an escape from the chaos startups for builders, by builders.

Together, we believe in a few core things:

01 Consistency creates community. One-time networking events rarely build lasting relationships. Hanging out at with others at weekly events creates a foundation for something deeper.

02 Smaller is better. Nobody likes walking into a room of 100+ business-card-passing strangers. Smaller, more curated groups create space to really get to know everyone in the room. When you see the same faces in a small room week over week, friendships flourish.

03 Barrier to entry. Whether you’re at our 7AM runs, cold plunge socials or a game night, showing up consistently to IRL events means something. You have discipline, commitment and a willingness to step outside your comfort zone.

04 Shared values connect us. We're building a community of people who value growing as a person, friend and entrepreneur. If we can get those types of people in the same room week over week, magic is bound to happen.
