Founders Common Weekly

A community-first club for health-focused founders

Our community is expanding—and so are the possibilities!

Last week's SXSW Founders Run brought together passionate founders for an unforgettable morning of connection and movement.

The energy was electric as new relationships formed on the pavement and deepened over post-run coffee in Downtown Austin.

We're thrilled to announce that Founders Common is expanding with a pilot Austin this April, adding to our growing global presence in NYC, SF, and Singapore.

This expansion is another step toward our vision of creating a worldwide community of founders who understand that physical wellness and business success go hand in hand.

SXSW Founders Run + Coffee!

With 6,000+ founders across our channels and over 3,000 newsletter subscribers—all connected by a shared commitment to both entrepreneurship and wellbeing—we're exploring new ways to unlock even more value for our community.

Founders Common Matchmaking Pilot

We're adding a pilot program to connect members who share not just a passion for morning runs and cold plunges, but complementary business challenges and insights. The concept is simple: founders who are already aligned on the importance of wellness (a powerful common ground!) can help each other solve business challenges through curated introductions.

If you're interested in participating in this pilot, we'd love to gauge interest. This would be a member-only benefit designed to create purposeful connections between founders who already share core values around health and business and are at similar stages in their journey.

Last Week at Founders Common

SXSW Founders Run + Coffee! brought together 18 founders for an energizing morning in Austin. The perfect combination of movement and conversation created an atmosphere where authentic connections flourished naturally. These runs embody our belief that some of the strongest founder relationships form outside traditional networking environments.

Looking Ahead

Stay tuned for upcoming events in April! We're expanding our Founders Run to Austin on April 1st and exploring innovative ways to create more value for our members. Know another founder who values both wellness and building? Forward this newsletter and help us grow our community of like-minded entrepreneurs.

What we're built on:

  • Consistency creates community. When you do the same thing every week, with the same people, relationships form naturally—something impossible at one-time networking events.

  • Barrier-to-entry. It's a certain type of person who gets up before 7 am to run 4 miles or jumps in a cold plunge. We want to know more of those people.

  • Shared values connect us. The people who show up value their health and wellness just as much as their passion for building new things.

  • Sweating together makes connecting easier. It's hard to wear a mask when you're sweating; that's the point!

  • Our name is who we are. We're not here to pitch our startups. We're here to meet other founders and like-minded people.

Founders Common Membership

  • Online community for business discussions and Q&A

  • Personalized founder matchmaking

  • Industry-specific networking groups

  • Discounted access to partner wellness experiences

  • Plus much more!

Here's to dreaming bigger,

Damian
