🧠 WHAT WE'RE BUILT ON

We started Founders Common last year to bring together friends across the startup world. We couldn’t find a community that we loved that was free of VCs, awkward happy hours or networking, so we built one. We’re a group of friends first that just happen to host a more advanced community, cool events & free resources that build us all up.

Here’s what we believe:

  • Consistency creates community. It’s hard to build real relationships at one-off, networking-happy events. When you do the same thing every week alongside the same people, relationships form naturally.

  • Barrier-to-entry. It takes a certain person to get up before 7AM to run 4 miles or jump into a 38º cold plunge. Those are the types of people we want to surround ourselves with, so we do.

  • Shared values connect us. The people like you who show up, value their health and wellness just as much as their passion for building new things.

  • Sweating together makes connecting easier. It’s hard to wear a mask when you’re sweating; that’s the point!

  • Our name is who we are. It’s in the name “Founders” Common. We’re not here to pitch our start-ups. We’re here to meet other founders and like-minded people.
